Pipe Routing Design and Implementation
: It is designed first in office isometric (ISO) drawings prior to fabrication and installation of piping. The Bottom of Pipe (BOP) elevation and Face of Flange (FOF) dimensions are established prior to hanging the pipe. Expansion loop and valve access are identified prior to pipe installation. Instrumentation locations are summarized to ease client needs. Insulation and accessibility and thickness are in consideration.
Pipe Support Design and Installation: Analysis is done of the need of pipe support, pipe bridge, and pipe rack. Since the existing pipe support may not be strong enough, study and design of the revised pipe support system is required.

P&ID Development and Implementation: Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID), also known as Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), is done by process department. P&ID revisions are common. Piping layout, routing, creating, revision, and installation of all process piping are done by piping department. Electrical department perform quality Electrical & Control (E&C) works as per project requirement. The instrumentation design and programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Control Panel are performed by instrumentation department.
Pipe Testing: It is essential to test the piping systems after fabrication and before operation. Piping has to
develop methods to do various pressurized and vacuum tests. All pipe testing are non-destructive.
Pipe Painting and Labeling: While pipe installation, routing, and support are some of Base Construction's specialties, pipe painting and labeling are essential to safe operation and usage of process piping.
